1Ga Parking light housing

1Ga Parking light housing - October 15, 2008 06:14 pm UTC

Hey guys;

You guys all know the 1Gb headlights you can get from Ziggy or Ebay that are completely clear correct? Well, I'm looking to do the same for a 1Ga, except for the parking/signal light housing.

Does anyone know of any companies that can do this? I tried one in Sudbury, however they can only do bends on 90 deg, and they do not have the equipment to redo the mould.

I am curious to know if anyone may have any sources that may be able to manufacture this for me.

Cheers;

Ryan

They also sell them on e-bay. They're also illegal. laugh

They don't sell them on Ebay.

I'm talking about the FRONT housing, not the side markers.

For a 1GA.

How are they illegal?

Oh and for reference, I'm talking about these:

Seriously, they sell them on e-bay. They're probably not listed right now, but give it a week or two and they'll be back. Trust me, I always browse 1Ga goodies, man. I've had mine for a long time. I'll try to do some digging and let you know what I find.

Are they not illegal if they lack the amber recfletor? I may have mixed THAT up with the side marker.

Edit: I did some digging. Check it out!

There is no lamp reflector in it, the lamp itself is amber.

I'm actually looking for this kind of clear:

OMG, how can this be so difficult.

The FRONT of the housing, the clear plastic that's all directional and wavy, when you look at the car, that's what you see, this is what the light shines out of, the outer part, if you were to rub your bumper and then the front of the housing, this is what you would touch.

I want THAT to be completely clear, no wavy lines, nada.

Smart-ass. I wish I could.

The oven trick does work, you can separate them.

Is it just too cramped inside?
Pop-ups are 1985. 1Gb time! tu
Don't you still have that hood?

No, hood's gone. Everything 1Gb is gone.

Unless I can find a mint AWD shell (AKA, no rust) with no body problems and a stupidly clean interior, I'm keeping my car.

I know what you mean, perfectly clear and not rippled. I'll look around, but if you find anything, please let me know! That would be killer. Extra kudos if you find the corner/front combo.

Yeah that would be nice to find clear front 1ga lights then toss these on: http://cgi.ebay.ca/MITSUBISHI-Eclipse-90-91-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-4X6_W0QQitemZ310093170955QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item310093170955&_trkparms=72%3A1215%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Then get some HID's.
