Re: Full Performance partout. - June 21, 2008 05:45 pm UTC
omg, so much stuff that I want...
Does the CF hood have the hook for the latch? Or would I need to install hood pins?
Is the FMIC still in good condition? bent fins etc?
Posted By: Ryan Laliberte
Re: Full Performance partout. - June 21, 2008 06:01 pm UTC
FMIC is ok, it's dented at the bottom, that's the way I got it, still holds pressure.
The CF Hood does have the latch, but it's also got the holes for the pins, pins are included (Cheap, but they work).

Ryan, as much as I want those parts, I have decided to not buy anything you list
I want you to be driving that Talon and enjoying it and running 11s!!!

What kind of exhaust from turbo back? How much? Do you ever get down this way (Belleville/Ptbo.) anymore?
Posted By: Ryan Laliberte
Re: Full Performance partout. - June 21, 2008 06:49 pm UTC
I rarely get down that way.
It's a 3" turbo-back with O2 elim and a V-band cat. Completely SS with a magnaflow muffler, VERY quiet and has a wideband bung welded on.

Re: Full Performance partout. - June 21, 2008 10:11 pm UTC
Crap I wanted those gauges haha.
When you say Prothane motor mounts, do you just mean the inserts or the whole assembly?
Also, what is on the chip for the ecu (not familiar with the peckerhead chips).
I am interested in these two items, just want to hear from you first.
Posted By: Ryan Laliberte
Re: Full Performance partout. - June 21, 2008 10:13 pm UTC
It's the inserts, but I'm not pressing the mounts out, you get the whole shebang!
The peckerhead chip is burnt for the following:
1G MAF
780cc injector compensation
20 deg. timing
11:1 Target A/F
5000 RPM Stutterbox
900 RPM idle
7500 RPM Rev limit

Re: Full Performance partout. - June 21, 2008 10:17 pm UTC
Ok this is a bit of a n00b question (again since I know nothing of these chips) , But if I ran the 1g maf (which i am, car is completly stock), and the 780cc injectors it would run normally as it does now?
Basically I am planning on stock rebuilding this motor, but want to run a slightly bigger turbo. But in the meantime wouldnt mind running the ecu, and bigger injectors in anticipation of the bigger turbo. Make sense?

I see on your original post you have changed some things and some no longer say sold. Are these items back up for sale or something? It's confusing at best to determine as you told me what says sold in the original post is sold.

Few new things to add and some pictures.
First up: The UBER 1G DSM SHIFTING PACKAGE!!!Make your shifting feel smooth as hell and as tight as the fuel feed line flare nut on the 1G.
It includes:
Fidanza Short Shifter (play in it, doesn't have plastic bushing, but still worked for me!)
Symbroski Shifter Base Bushings
Great shape 1Gb Shifter Cables
Skateboard bearings in shifter cables to tranny bracket
1G Leather shift boot
1G Shorter shift knob (not the donkey dick style)
I would like $150 for this whole package. I will separate if needed.
And here's a few pictures of some of the other stuff I have as well.
Headlights (seems weird not having a big ass FMIC in there)
Once again, prices DO NOT include shipping or Paypal Fees.Thanks.

Re: Full Performance partout. - July 08, 2008 05:42 pm UTC
Just to add, block is out of the car and disassembled downstairs. Still has factory crosshatching in the cylinders and the crank is immaculate.
I did spin a bearing big time and it damaged the rod, thank God. The crankshaft MAY..
MAY need a polish, but I HIGHLY doubt it.
Anyone up for a spare motor for a build next year? I have 2 6 bolt blocks and cranks downstairs, and I only need one.
The block is nice and clean!
Prices for the block/crank:
Block: $100
Crank: $100

Re: Full Performance partout. - July 08, 2008 06:54 pm UTC
Sorry to be off topic, so your engine was shot causing the knock?
Posted By: Ryan Laliberte
Re: Full Performance partout. - July 08, 2008 07:06 pm UTC
Yeah, it seems I spun the #3 AND #4 bearing. Didn't do any damage to the crank, that's why I didn't notice it. Upon pulling the rods out, the underside of the bearing was shot and my rods were all scored up.
Seems it clung to the crank and spun around the rod.
I'm glad the crank is ok though. Here's a few pics of the crank.
No lines at all on it, nothing can be felt, they are SMOOTH.
Rods are shot, unless they can be machined, but who wants machined rods??
Few pics of the carnage.
