Just got back from Elliot Lake Drag races this weekend. I thought I would share my times and see what you think. I didnt do as well as I wanted to but it was my first time launching the car and the first time on the track.
My first run I was nervous as sh!t and ran a 9.289 @79mph with a .999 reaction and a 2.18 60 ft.
After that run I felt like an ass....but I knew the car was running well.
My best run of the day(which I only had 5 due to weather) was an 8.97 @79mph with a .559 reaction and a 1.9 60 ft.
Every run I did I got a second faster with a better 60 ft and reaction. As far a launching, I was doing that pretty well, and alot of ppl love the way the Talon just grips and goes.
I was the ONLY DSM there, and I did pretty good in the street class.
Just thought I would post some #'s. Feel free to make fun or give helpful advice.....all in good fun!
