Damn....and I am looking for the fourth (a Jeep) and REALLY don't want to own 5. There should be a warning on threads like this..."do not look if you are a sucker for a bargain", or something like that.

Wont drive back to Toronto because of the fuel problem and brake lines are toast.

body has very litle rust, floors are perfect, tires are fairly new, brakes are like new,

You would expect that to mean the brakes work fine but I guess he means the pads lol.

I took a look at the car today, and for those intested, here is more info.

The car runs, and starts fine. Does not come with a battery. The car is running rich, and stumbles under light throttle/accelleration. As soon as the car hits boost, it picks up and runs great. Interior is currently torn apart, owner was seaching electrical for any problems. It comes with 2 ECU's, appear to be EPROM? Body has a lot of surface rust, but not much through the panels. Underside is crazy clean. Front fenders are rusted through in small spot on either side. Power steering does not work. Has a leak in the cooling line past the rubber.

Driver rear brake line needs replacement. Fuel sending unit rusted up pretty bad, but works and doesn't leak.

Transmissions works and feels good. Tires treads are in great shape, but the back 2 have a slow leak.

He seems to be interested in delivering it too. Has a truck and a vehicle trailer.

What would cause that? Really bad acid rain? A flammable liquid and a match? Sandpaper and a rainstorm? Loosing a bet with God? I give up.

Obviously the previous owner was compiling notes for a book on the great history of Ontario salt trucks!

Neither of those ECU's are eproms by the look of them. I would say that car is priced a tad high lol

My bad on the ECU gents! I thought they might be EPROM but snapped the picture just incase

I just realized in the picture with the fuel pump... there is a match book on the sending unit! haha

I'd probably give him 200 for it

that car is finished
