Some of the bike boards I'm on do this, and it's a fun reason to just get out and drive your toy for a bit. If I'd known about it when I had my DSM, I would have done it.
Photo Tag:
Basically, someone goes out and takes a picture of their car in a location with a landmark, etc. You'll want to make it easily identifiable so someone else can figure out where it is. The next person to get their car to the same spot, and post a picture of THEIR car at it, gets to pick the next location. (They post a second pic of their car at the spot/landmark/area they challenge someone else to get to). Repeat....
Photo Hunt:
Come up with a suggestion for a picture with a DSM in it (ie: your DSM in front of a beach). The first person to post a pic of their car at a beach, gets to pick the next suggestion. This one is similar to photo tag, but only requires the players to post 1 pic, and isn't as specific.
I'd start, but I don't have my DSM anymore, so if you guys like the idea, someone else will have to run with it.
I've played a couple times with the bike, and it is kinda fun. Gives you a "destination" when you want to take your car for a run, but aren't sure where.

Sounds like fun. We used to play another game in my bike club. You had to take pictures of your bike under a highway sign, and you would have to make the highway numbers add up to some pre-determined number, like say the year: 2012. We were limited to the number of 400 series highways we could use. It was also a lot of fun, but took a while to complete

And although it doesn't state they can't be old picture it does state that this is for us to get out there with our DSMs when we don't know where to go.

You can fab this up mike, COMMON MANG!!!!! 1x Can Supporo 2x NPT barb fittings 1x Strap (to mount it)
Drill 2 holes in the can, drain and DONT drink the beer. (Metal shavings aren't overly digestible) Screw in one barb fitting in each hole and seal around each thread with whatever you want. (JB, RTV, etc) Mount and enjoy.

There are Two of these in existence and both still work perfectly to this day, I would be happy to help make a setup for some one but I'm just weary of the complications that come along with using/selling a trade mark brand, I might just do some research first before I get ahead of myself.

Yes your DSM must be on the roof level so make sure we can see that you're high up in the air

Of course I over-complicate it, you could just use a brick. Might have to get fancy with the clutch sensor wiring - heck now the rod could come in handy

if that's your friends car tell him that my daughter was driving that day. the current turbo is the dsm hta3586. Sorry Jay, I was getting the car ready for this weekend and went out and did some logs just to make sure the car runs good. So a little timing here and a little leaner there plus nice and cool morning and the 3gear did not like that and decided to go to never never land at 42psi. I was able to get home but the car needs another tranny. that was my 2nd built tre tranny(stage 4).

Funny enough, this happened to me going onto the 407 from the 401 Tuesday afternoon. Was playing around with an Aston Martin on the crossover ramp and after only a few seconds of being on the 407, I heard a huge bang and all of a sudden the car started running super rich and what-not. Turns out the hose blew right off the 't' in the engine bay. I didn't look at my boost gauge, but I estimate I was at least 30+ psi on my 14b when it blew, on a 30psi boost gauge.

My rottie never set foot in my Talon. I have had a couple of DOGS in there before , but hey you have to slay a few Dragons before you get the princess right.
I had a corduroy blanket that i would use for my dog in other cars. And I agree with Jason nothing but a hair storm when the windows got open oh and the smell fuuuccckk what a smell. And I am a dog lover

how about the fact that the license plate is on the other side of my bumper compared to my avatar. ill give you a pic of the front of the car, you will also notice I removed the red mitsu star off my bumper last night (its still installed on my avatar), I had projector headlights in my avatar. also for some reason the date on the pic says 2004 and I didn't own this car in 2004.

Terry I think Bryan should get a point. I mean he was the first to get the picture. And up until that's what this photo hunt was about speed, being the first. It didn't matter if some one else had taken a better picture. The Halloween costume is based on quality. So in theory Bryan could make a better robin hood costume and get another point. Just my .02 cents any ways

Alrite gentlemen the next objective is a 2 picture challenge, I'm looking for a gas receipt for $.30 of gas on the button. To tie this into the DSM criteria you are going to need to take a picture of the receipt inside your car (maybe on your seat or in your windshield) AND your DSM next to the pump where it shows a total amount of $.30, If you cant get the price on the pump with you car in the pic no worries, I just want some proof the gas went into a DSM and not your gas sipping Honda
Be prepared for weird looks from the gas station attendant.

I want to see DSM and MONEY....lots of money ...i dont care if bills are 5 or 100. I just want to see many bills spread out on the hood and windshield of your DSM. If its too windy outside throw cash around the interiour of the car (trunk not allowed). Take a pic of that. Minimum of 13 bills to qualify for the point!

If its a win my current challenge is this: I want to see your Mother, Father OR wife/girlfriend but NOT a buddy/cousin/sibling driving your DSM and obviously without you in your car. The picture must be of the occupant actually driving the car (even if its just slowly) down the street and not just sitting in your driveway.

The dink that painted the car did n't put any clear coat on it so the paint basically drinks water. Plus I can't be bother cleaning, rather spend my time doing something else.

As for the height comment...I'm not sure exactly how tall Jamie is, but I'd imagine he's probably got a good kink in his neck after any day at the track cause he's got to put his head like this --> / " to fit in with a helmet on.

Negitive! difficult..yes, ridiculous..no. If you have coilovers this is easy, I have a photo of mine on the peak of a hilly parking spot where the rear tire naturally wanted to come off the ground.
not to say 1 wheel off the ground wont take some ingenuity but we don't have to drive to another coast to get the picture.
If we are going to photohunt our personal librarys instead of physically getting into our DSM's to complete the challenge then we have lost the true meaning of the 'HUNT'...

The ground there also is on a slant going downwards from the building. Eh, I have work tonight, so I'll retake the shot (sans Ferrari) assuming no one else gets it by then, just to be sure.
The owner wasn't there when the car was moved/pictures taken. Plus, it's power isn't too impressive. Makes 562 at 9,000rpm which is red line and weighs over 3,200lbs.

hahahaha. Air Bravo and NAS have the worst looking ones! Take a look at the PC-24. Also, the skyvan is the ugliest aircraft. Basically a subway car with wings.
CHALLENGE Your DSMs odo with every full digit showing. 0-9. Order doesn't matter. Hopefully this will force some of you to take your car out of the garage and drive it!

It's fun as is...I enjoy skimming through and playing here and there, but I wouldn't even consider it for $5.
Unless it's still the same game for everyone but the pot only applies to those interested in throwing in some $ (i.e. some play for fun, some for $), in which case the points should be reset.

If anything, an ALL new thread could be made where the premise is a $5 participation fee is involved, and put towards RTM BUCKS (was just an idea). It could be actual CASH ON THE DASH. BUT, figured maybe keep the money IN the community. I think the first step is to gauge interest (like we, as a community, do with almost everything ) and go from there.

I don't have a DSM to play with, so I'm not really involved. I think resetting the counters each year makes sense though. For motivation as mentioned above, and in fairness to any "newcomers". (imagine trying to get into the game 20+ points behind?)

Example there is a Terry Crt and a Drew Rd locally, either one would net you a point, it can be either the first or last name and does not have to be spelled the same as your own or the members.

I like the 17" 2Gb Talon wheels on 1G's too. I've always liked them.

I want to see a photo of a child 10 or under driving (not actually driving but in the driver seat pretending to drive) your DSM, it can be your neighbors kid, your kid...hell I don't care if you borrow one from your local day care, just make it happen

Since it's coming up to the end of the season I think this challenge is appropriate, I want to see a board member driving (moving shot) another members dsm.
Remember... I want a moving shot so they actually have to be driving, I don't care if it's a launch, fly-by, or just doing 50 down a school zone.. The car must be moving.

Hmmm... So I've always had this suspicion that my car has been hit on the drivers side or at least the drivers side door was different. Which would have happened before I owned her. The lines near the top of the door didn't match up and was off about 1/8" and it continues up the window.
Now looking at that picture specifically the door really seems different, anyone else see what I'm talking about?

OK so during this hunt the whole camouflage thing got me thinking of those pesky cops that have the hiding spots where all you see is the nose of their car last minute sticking out.
So this should be an easy one, if I can explain it right haha. Go park your car in one of these spots and get a shot of what it looks like approaching it.

Oh.. The oil pic... Ya.. Well.. The motor is slighty on an angle, sitting on a block cause there is not tranny in the car.. The oil just pours out the hole in the oil pan for the turbo drain. There was nothing serious about the pic!

Well I wont argue that the 360 is not a supercar.. Ive driven one and they re 4 times better quality and handling then a DsM. According to these guys tho, 400hp, 4 second 0-60, and a 12.2 second quarter. That can be beat easily by a DSM. I hope I will be at that point soon. I know of a few DSMs around here that are.
