act 2100 with stock clutch disc? - March 04, 2008 05:06 pm UTC

What would happen if I use a ACT2100 with a stock clutch disc? I bought a Act2100 from a member on this board and I think he gave me a stock disc with it, the PP side is almost completly gone and the other side still looks new. I ask because I have a brand new stock clutch disc and don't want to throw it in just for it to die in a few months. I did have my tranny blow and it got stuck in thrid, so this could be alot of the wear. I did not drive it far in third though and believe the damage should have been minor. Any help would be great.
Thanks Brendan

That would be fine.

I ran an ACT2100 with Street Disc for 3 seasons, was able to get a few 1.6sec 60' with it.

The 2100 will allow a little more slip if you launch it hard and will hold very well during spirited driving.
