1Ga (90/91) with A/C - February 21, 2020 09:29 pm UTC

Boys,

Looking (maybe wishful thinking) for a clean (not a POS) 1Ga with A/C, willing to spend good money to get it. I'm in Ottawa, but will drive far if I have to. 92/93/94 is my silver medal, will consider them also, but prefer 1Ga.

Please contact at druel@start.ca.

Thanks!

Dave

15K- forgot to mention, I'm looking for a Talon, never been a big fan of the Mitsu styling.

Driving far is not an issue, would even fly if I had to.

Thanks!

Thats a good budget. Last year a customer of mines found a 70k low km 1990 AWD for $9k. Super clean, all stock, original paint, 0 dings, never winter driven, single owner and lady owned since 1990. I've had the pleasure of working on it since he bought it.

Apparently these still exist and expect to pay around that much or more for a super clean 1G DSM. Go onto any of the Facebook DSM groups, and you'll see all the cheap assess losing their sh!t everytime another 1G DSM goes for $10k+ USD these days.

I actually noticed a unique pattern. People who can't afford it are the ones who spend more time on the internet yapping away at why no body should spend that kind of money when they bought their hacked up DSM for $500.

Then we got people like you who will cough up $15k for a nice clean DSM. Guess what, if I didn't own a DSM right now, would be a no brainer for me to spend that kind of money on a clean one. Good luck, I'm sure you'll find it soon smile

Fully agree!

My best case scenario is a stock low mileage midnight blue, purple or black 1991 AWD 5 speed, but I'm not holding my breath.

Also, had no idea about the Facebook groups, thanks for that! smile

I am considering selling mine. It's a 1Gb 92 tsi awd there is 85 k on it spent 3 nights outside it's pretty mint nearly stock. Dark grey never winter driven. Interior is as nice as day it came from dealer. Both Reza and Bryan have seen it a few times. If you would like to see pics pm me your cell number or email and I will send.

Damn so there’s a couple of us with sub 100k fair weather only cars. Mine stays inside a heated garage, doesn’t even see rain. Third owner. 93k, bone stock minus a tasteful exhaust and lowering springs. Bought it off the guy that’s owned it off lease in 1995 until 2015 when I got it... We should have a meet with all these garage queens lmao

I would be up for that. Mine also has a few tweaks but have all the original equipment other than the old muffler tail pipe. I added wildwood fron bb kit and audio equipment but still very stock. Mine also heated garage kept and sees no rain. We should definitely have a meet.

Still looking, if anyone knows of 1Ga- stock or modified, doesn't matter, but I'm looking for a quality, well-running car, not a hooptie in need of tuning, etc.

Thank you!
