Jason are they any good? If these turn out to be longer than my current one I will probably grab one.

These have been on sale for a while. Grabbed a couple of them already, about 3 weeks ago. They seem ok, worth the money for at least one.

I bought this a couple years back, haven't had any issues but also don't use it that often. If it ever breaks, they typically have a no questions asked replacement policy.

I got another one last week from CT. They had a sale for a 20-250lb torque wrench and one of these breaker bars for $57.

I got one for this price about 6 months ago, never had an issue, great deal IMO.

They're 24" long, which is just about perfect for most jobs, use a ratchet if you want something shorter.

I bought 2 a year or so ago when they were on sale for $14 and I've done lots of work with them, only issue I had was snapping them both off this week with a 4' pipe on them.

I had a 24" breaker bar from Princess Auto, and snapped the 1/2" drive in half trying to get my axle nut off. Then I ran to Canadian tire, got one of these 24" breaker bars, put my 4ft long jack handle over the end of it for more leverage, and finally loosened my axle nut. The CT breaker bar was bending like a bow, but it held on and got the job done. smile

I must be the only guy on the planet who doesn't have trouble getting axle nuts off..

Still picked one of these up though smile

I only have trouble on Subaru's, even on my 94 Ram, which takes a 1 3/4" socket, comes right off with one of these bars and no cheater.

Why do it by hand? 1000ft/lb impact works wonders!

Nope, don't even need the 24" bar, mine come off easily with an 18" bar. My axles slide in & out by hand as well rotate

I just use a 1' cheater bar (engine stand handle) on a 3/8" ratchet. You guys don't break enough axles! smile

Same here, except I use a 4' steel pipe on a 3/8" or 1/2" ratchet wink Nothing beats it!
