1g FWD rear sway bar retrofit - August 31, 2017 12:56 am UTC

To be honest, I haven't really seen any TSI FWD 1gs around BUT I just finished installing Suspension techniques rear sway bar retrofit for the 89 - 94 FWD model. Besides the installation instructions being retarded and the diagrams not matching what the written instructions are saying, the install is easy

Only two holes to enlarge as they are already there in the control arms from factory.

On a side note, this years shootout proved to be the best place to find hidden treasure. Front and rear strut tower braces for twenty bucks.. TWENTY DOLLARS!

It has been a while since I have seen the underside of a 1G FWD. What once was a familiar sight, now seems foreign.

How does the car behave with it?

Felt super tight. Kinda wish I hadn't installed the front and rear strut tower braces at the same time so I could compare. Shows promise for track time.
