Propshaft and rear diff bolt sizes

Propshaft and rear diff bolt sizes - August 01, 2014 01:27 pm UTC

Anyone know off hand what size and length the bolts/nuts are used on the propshaft to the rear diff and from the rear half shaft to the cups (3 bolt if it makes a difference)...

You cannot use standard stuff. You need to go to the dealer or a parts car. They are special short shoulder bolts so that the torque is not applied across a thread. You've likely to shear the bolts otherwise.

Derek, I have 4 free ones you can have but you have to climb under the parts car and get them.

RTM's got the four bolts that attach the end of the prop shaft to the rear diff flange. I don't think they're in the webstore, but we've got 'em.
