Cutting Metal

Hey gang.

Well, I've been dripping with sweat for 5 hours a night the last 4 nights working on transplanting vintage driftwood Talon bits into purple people eater Talon. Holy sh!t I forgot alot of the stuff I did the driftwood Talon, this is taking forever!

Anyway, I'm onto installing the FMIC so need to cut some metal to route my piping. Any hints on preferred cutting tools/methods before I pick something I have at hand? I'm not changing anything from what I had before, so can't avoid the cut - I don't have any wife approved funds considering I currently own 4 cars, the newest of which is 18 years old.

The main bit I'm cutting a hole in is next to the windsheild washer bottle, adjacent to the rad. I'm replicating this:

Sawzall has been the weapon of choice for stuff like that, cutting disks make too much mess. If you have a friend with an air saw supposedly they are the bees knees!

I chickened out and decided not to chop the car and also I want to keep A/C now that I'm old. Going to be rockin' the stock SMIC until spring when I'll re-do the FMIC piping to be 1km long.

As for metal cutting, I think I would've gone for the 3" hole saw as first attempt on driver's side. I'm sure it would've eventually led to the sawsall and cutting wheels
