urgent need for 2000 subaru rear diff

urgent need for 2000 subaru rear diff - October 22, 2010 01:40 am UTC

Hey guys, the rear diff went in my 2000 forester L Manual and I'm wondering, somewhere out there, if someone knows anyone with a used rear diff from a legacy/rs/forester from 2000 to about 2003 I think.

It has to be the 4.11 ratio from the Manual trans.

I've posted on some subaru forums but not much luck so far and I was hoping someone here could help.

PM me to get in touch
Thanks!

Ya, Brian F. pointed me in that direction and they're all on the west coast for some reason, even out of imprezas. I think that's where my mechanic wants to get it from too so I think that'll be a last resort if I don't find anything else.

Thanks Rob

I didn't think they'd have used diffs. Do you know of a place?

Thanks

Have you tried the wanted on:

You never know who may have what over there.

I have ya, and subaru forester org, and the legacy one, all with no luck so far, and I'm still waiting to hear back from the CASC club so I've got my fingers crossed.

There's still a few other clubs and websites I've got to try but unfortunately, if I don't find one by the end of the weekend I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and just pay the crazy premium and get it through my mechanic from the west coast.

Thanks again to everyone, and sorry to the mods for having 2 threads on the same thing. I didn't intend on the wtb thread to turn into a discussion!
