Building computer

CALLING ALL GEEKS!

i'm wanting to build the wife a computer for christmas, she does lots of video editing and its time for her to get off her laptop thats locking up. She does zero gaming, its just that adobe photo and video editing.

Does anyone here build computers or can you point me in a good direction.

I know i'm wanting atleast 1TB of member and a good Soild state for the operating system.

So geek me up boys!. My limit i'm hoping is around 1500$

I picked up my area 51 alienwear tower with keyboard and mouse for 500 used on Kijiji. It's a kick ass PC that my kids does all his Adobe editing. So 1500 should get you a lot better.

$1500 will get a really nice setup.

Hexa/Octo core CPU, 16-32GB of ram, 500GB SSD for OS and 1-2TB for storage.

Dual monitors are also wonderful for any sort of video/photo editing.

Also think about a UPS and good power supply, it's a shame to see nice rigs fail due to crap power.

Newegg is my usual goto place but shopbot.ca is useful too as it scours all Canadian sources for the best price.

So far, I understand Kijiji in this whole thing, haha

but i definitely appreciate all the help guys! If any are bored and wanna cruise alberta kijiji on towers and if you see a solid build and deal let me know that would be sweet too.
