EBC Solenoid Location - July 24, 2014 08:22 pm UTC
Wondering where everyone points these.
My MBC is connected and basically rests up against my intake and is held there with the vacuum lines.
Look for a location I can put my solenoid that will be safe.
Fan is not an option as I will be switching the rad soon and will be swapping in slim fans.

Just zip tie it to the slim fan once it's in.

I was going to do push so that I would have plenty of space there to do stuff.
Yes sir the IR one.
Just make a little bracket and mount to the old aircan/slave hose bracket.

Yeah that's what I was thinking so I will do that.
Just wasn't sure if that would be too much vacuum line.
Nah! Boost pressure will fill that line long before it fills your intercooler.

Mine is mounted in a pretty hidden and out of the way spot behind the right headlight. Stays away from the heat but does not make the boost lines unnecessarily long. I can get you some pictures in a few weeks once I'm back home.

Since the 2g had an EBC stock I just mounted mine in the same place, passenger frame rail. This allows the vacuum lines to be short and the wiring to be mostly hidden.

Bolted to the frame rail where the oem one was for me.
