Hardware Upgrade

Well, I know you guys don't hear from me much, but, the Mongoose still runs, and enjoys sunny days in the country.

Today, the server hardware here got an upgrade.
It should mean a serious speed increase for the forums, once it settles in.

Let me know if you don't see imrpovement.

Edit: Noticeably laggy not long after coming back online, but now it's peppy as heck. *thumbs up*

yeah, each time I stop and start the database, it has to re-cache a bunch of stuff... but I'm tweaking the settings to help that along... have to monitor and see how it plays.

anyone with much mySQL experience, please email. wouldn't mind some performance settings advice.
