Well, I called and booked my room at the Gull Motel , which is where we stayed last year. It's not fancy, but it's about US$35/night cheaper than the Super8 or the EconoLodge.

The Gull Motel has 25 rooms. 6 are already booked by DSMs (Damian Sigman's gang, the IndyStars, who were also there last year). If we book 10+ rooms, we will all get a $5/room/night discount. Their prices (before discount) are (in $US):

$65 Thursday 20 July
$75 Friday 21 July
$85 Saturday 22 July

It would be really cool to fill the whole place for the 3 days again!

Marta,

Check out http://www.buschurracing.com/shootout2000/ for more info.

I'm trying to get the MI-DSM folk to stay at the Gull too.

I think there was some local disappointment, when Dave finally pulled his event together, and it hit one week before the one Marco was planning...

So, how many are going to each, can we get a tally?

Also, all the ads I see for the 30th of July, seem to imply 100% Import Society, with no mention of DSM or Marco/Magnus.

Marco: can you shed some light on this? What's up with this event?

If it's just another Import event, then I may see if I can get the time off and go down to Ohio after all... but it's probably too late to book the ferry. [Linked Image]

Everybody just calm down, alright
july 30th is going on just as planned the only difference is as you all know I not only work on talons I also dabble in other cars, So coem out for the warm up on June 4th this sunday, at st. thomas because july 30th is gonna be fracking huge. With what we have in the works you will all be very very pleased.
The reason there is no mention on the flyer is because that is just a general series flyer, the real flyers are still getting printed next week. So everybody calm down and we're gonna give you a REAL reason to come to London, other than 16 sec civics.

Now we're letting Miata owners post here? :-P

Dave, I probably won't make it to the MSOC event, but if I can get my car together in time, I'm hoping to go to the WOSCA event on July 2nd in Chatham.

Me, scared. I don't think so. Actually, I haven't run any autox's at all this year. I've been too busy club racing at Waterford Hills in my friends ITD Ford Festiva. Its a blast. So far its going really well. I didn't have a very good race yesterday. I decided to use a Showroom Stock Neon to slow me down... twice. I don't think he appreciated me caving in his left rear door. :-(

My schedule is pretty tight this summer, but I'll see if I can squeeze in a CASC-OR or MSOC event.
