Again, I will try to be there this year again. Last year my DSM, also my only car at the time, failed on me. This year, DSM or not I can drive the daily if I have to.

This year is the year woudnt miss it for anything already booking everything around it gona be a fun drive up !

Just booked my reservation at the Plantation. Who else is staying there???

Eric, mind if I ask what the rate is there this year? How many nights are you staying?

I was always disappointed that we never got to use the pool there, so we booked closer to Cleveland, about 40 minutes to Bushcurr's maybe an hour to the track. Very nice place, though, with INDOOR pool and hot tub . We are staying three nights for around $245. + taxes = $285.

I'm staying Fri, Sat and Sun nights and it's $197.00 plus Tax: 16.74 = 213.74

Damn, that's a good deal!

Where is the party spot at? I've never been, not sure where to stay?

Party spot is usually at the Econo Lodge in Norwalk, it gets pretty crazy.

I'll be staying at the Days Inn in Milan, we booked too late to get in at the Econo Lodge.

Booked my room today, so I'm good to go.

Staying in Milan; that is not too far from where we are staying. Just a hop skip and a jump from the Huron Plantation

Sounds like a good turnout for the Plantation. Maybe we can all go hang out at Eric's 'Cottage'.
I'll have the SUV there if we want to all go out for dinner and few/many drinks. Seats 8 if you're friendly.

Damn....for about 5 years I was the only one staying at the Plantation....so now that I have booked elsewhere, everyone is heading there again

what days are you guys leaving on?

I know most (probably all) of us are leaving the morning of Friday the 19th and leaving Ohio on the Monday (22nd).

Yeah, we usually leave around 6AM on Friday morning.

Try about 4 hours or so (or more?) after that last year

Would be nice to leave early though, settle in after lunch and maybe explore Cleveland on Friday afternoon/evening! (Would love to go to Cedar Lake or whatever the amusement park is there with the awesome rides, but no time)

Tah heck with that! Plan is for me to get to the Plantation around 4-5ish, unload, pop hood and crack beer.

The park is 6 flags cedar point. Has some of the worlds best roller coasters. What time is everyone meeting and what location? Then whats the plan after that?

This is killing me... I might have to sit this year out guys. Rebuilding the motor in my DSM is costing me way more than I anticipated, and I'm in the bidding process of buying a new house... sadly that's got priority... I'm going to feel it out for the next couple of weeks and see how cash is, but be ready for it.

I'd be willing to lend you the money, if that's what it takes....

Pretty much confirmed I wont be able to go. Girlfriend starts a new job on the 22nd and we're moving her to my place that weekend. Time to house hunt! I will still be at the Invasion though!!

The idea is not to stop everywhere and end up with 20 cars. Maybe you T.O. Guys could arrange your trip; we might hook up on the way or meet there.

I am still waiting for some tig welding on my exhaust to be done, still need a safety, still need alot of things.... Girlfriend says she doesn't want to go in my hyundai haha but it seems like its going to be unavoidable.. Although my goal is to atleast drive mine out of the garage before I leave.

Farcepowa was the laughing stock at the Shootout. Everybody knew about their sub one-second 60' they claimed and posted on highboost forum early this summer.

Amazing shoot out it was a blast!

It was tons of fun. Only one big wreck and a lil rain. Jamie ran an 11.7 and Solomon won 3rd.

Just got back over an hour ago. Just beat.
