Make sure both flanges are flat. Sand them if necessary. A block sander will do the trick.

That or I just got a nice piece of flat metal and lay the sand paper on that so I have a nice even surface. Check it at all the angles with your straight edge.

The mating surfaces are likely warped. On my 1G flange, I use RTV Silicon gasket maker together with OEM gasket and it never leaked on me. Same goes on my TB and IM.

It never leaked with the stock 1g BOV. It's a 1g/greddy combo flange that Ziggy used to sell. I'll take it apart and clean the crap out out of it and check for it being warped.

If the flange didn't leak with the stock 1g bov, my guess would be the flange is flat and your new bov is the problem...

Don't "clean the crap" out of it, as you will likely make it LESS flat than it is now. Sand LIGHTLY to check for lumps/bumps, and check flatness.

Easy enough, get some prussian blue machinist dye and put some on one surface, then bolt them together with no gasket, no rtv, etc. Look for the high/low spots and call it a day.

Where to buy?

Not sure if local Napa would have it?

Buy latex gloves and a little acid brush also. It is a bitch to wash off.
