Re: Gauging interest 1g fwd turbo partout - May 30, 2009 08:06 pm UTC

Pm's answered, I would be willing to sell the 1g(91)/2g(98) coversion, but never finished it. With a 1gb hood I think it would be done(might have to grind and glass a bit) anyways whats spoken for is

cv shafts
valve cover
tranny bolts
tube mainfold

I also have a set of ebay 2gb eclipse headlights that I won't be using, among other things, I will look through my parts. Everything has to go as I need cash to finish the awd and safty and e-test it.

Re: Gauging interest 1g fwd turbo partout - June 01, 2009 03:47 pm UTC

I think so, Had some interest and think I will need parts from it for the awd, but have to get the AWD going and outta the shop before I can bring the fwd there to start the part out, I can sell lots of the parts aslong as its still driveable/moveable.

Do you still need these? and will I be able to tow rope the car out of there? If not you might have to wait a week or so depending on how everything goes with the awd

Re: Gauging interest 1g fwd turbo partout - June 03, 2009 03:40 am UTC

Can those projectors be taken apart so one could paint the housing?

Re: Gauging interest 1g fwd turbo partout - June 03, 2009 03:48 am UTC

You can take apart any housing, you just need to bake it for a little bit in the oven to soften up the silicone.

Re: Gauging interest 1g fwd turbo partout - June 03, 2009 09:42 pm UTC

Brendan, you will still be able to roll the car.

If you look underneath the car on the subframe:

I need those 2 brackets. They are held on by 2 14mm nuts and 1 17mm bolt. The bushing bolt is also 17mm. The car will still roll and you can even do it with the wheels on the ground.

Will pay for the time, the part and the shipping to get it here. This is rather urgent.
