1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX - April 01, 2012 09:04 am UTC

I got a job offer out West that I can't refuse and I'm not taking the car with me. That being said its up for sale and has to be gone in 2 weeks.

http://www.ca.dsm.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=369142&page=1

That's the link for the build thread so you can see what's been done and the extent of the restoration.

List of parts to the best of my recollection.

Stainless fuel line filter to rail.
Silver Powder coated fuel rail

Powder coated Subframe
Poly Engine mounts

Recently stock rebuilt 5 speed transmission (doesn’t grind at all)
Fidanza lightened flywheel
ACT 2100
2G exhaust manifold and O2 housing
All new wire loom
Relocated alt
Engine bay shaved holes and wire tuck

Aluminum subframe bushings (poly ones waiting to be put in)
Brand new front fenders
Tons of powdercoated goodies on engine
All emissions deleted

All new timing components

3G lifters
Fresh stock rebuild head

The car only has 62xxx original miles and was originally a New Jersey car. Only thing the car needs is minor electrical work (gas gauge and one pop up don't work)

I'm entertaining all offers as I really dont have a price in mind.

For sale for real this time. Car has link v3 lite installed now and a bunch of cool gauges. 5k is my price, not a penny less.

So you rewired the whole car, did you keep it a 90 or is it a 91 now? any outstanding issues with wiring?

Also beautiful work, I never read that thread before.

Car is still wired as a 90, its was working fine and already had the 90 eprom ecu installed. Only issue is the gas gauge doesnt work now, but the idiot light works fine. One of the headlights doesnt pop up but turns on just fine. have hid replacements waiting to go in aswell. I'll get current pictures this weekend. The car looks exactly the same as the build thread pictures, just with the winter storage tires on.

Car is back up for sale, willing to entertain all reasonable offers. Probably wont be much action until the spring as the car is stored for the winter.

The car isn't perfect, but its pretty not to bad for being 25+ years old I think. The interior is in pieces but it's all there, was chasing the wires for the gas gauge and came up with nothing. Ran out of nice weather last year before i could get it back together.

Thanks for looking.

Taking offers. Lost interest and car is just sitting in my garage. Will probably have to wait for spring as I have pulled the insurance for winter storage.

I don't want to sell it, but it's not getting driven much. I'd rather someone else enjoy the car.

Glad to see you still have yours.

She's in good hands I assure you. It is being sent off to get a fresh paint job in a few days...

It's cool that you guys already removed the sound deadening and painted the bare floor.

Almost worthy of a 10 point cage.
