I had a decent conversation with him:
Hey man, I was just trying to help. But since you can't take the honest assistance of someone who is extremely knowledgable of DSM's, all I can say is good luck with your sale.
Once again, I offer you that your motor is a 420a chrysler, 4 cylinder, 16 valve DOHC motor. Count the spark plugs. The coil pack is mounted on the top center of the valve cover, and it has 4 wires running from it. I used to own one of these Eclipse's myself, before I sold it and bought an eclipse GSX with the Mitsubishi 4g63 4 cylinder turbo motor.
ok whatever good for u u want me to clap my hands for u i care less!!!!!
i would like a round of applause you retarded fuckbag. I'm glad that the rest of the world has a higher IQ than a chimpanzee, since evolution clearly failed you. Good luck selling your V6 POWERED 4 cylinder car. Was just trying to help.

do those stock wheels ever look weird. 16's look good on my lancer, but the talon eclipse begs for 18's.
He totally did an all-night motor swap lol kept his v6 for later

I wonder if our members had any effect on his revised ad. lol
This guy is a joke and his car is need of saving...
Considering he doesn't know what engine it was, I wouldn't buy it. Chances are he never maintained it.

It's the two and two thirds valves per cylinder that perlexes me..

That bumper is significantly off in terms of colour relative to the rest of the car.

I believe Mazda had a 1.8litre V6 at one point.....
It's simple, rob, ...the outer four cylinders have 3 valves each, the middle two only have two each,,,,DONE! LOL

Re: a good laugh. - July 06, 2011 04:24 pm UTC
And there used to be 2.5-3L V12s in the race cars back in the day, so as unlikely as a 2.0L V6 is (in a production car, anyways), it's been done many times, and for a lot longer than any of us have been around.

The mazda was a production engine. I don't remember what model it was in, but it was small and "sporty".

Re: a good laugh. - July 06, 2011 06:01 pm UTC
According to Wikipedia, Mazda's 1.8L V6 was the smallest displacement for a V6 production engine. Could've changed since I read that but . . .
1992-96 Mazda mx-3 had a 1.8l v6 Ziggy (I have one) worlds smallest v6 at the time.

Won't be the smallest for two long. The new F1 cars are supposed to be getting turbocharged 1.6l v6 next year I think
^^ YES! back to turbos

It's in 2014. Won't quite sound the same though, turbos have always acted as a bit of a muffler.

Ferrari F40 had a twin-turbo 2.9L V8. Smallest production V8 perhaps?

Looks like it's actually Mitsu that had the smallest production V6.
One point six!

Mazda mx-3 Precidia....1.8L v6's...all day, made 'em for years. Not fast by any stretch of the word....but had a good exhuast note with a proper exhaust system and mellon shooter.
