Hey, been getting the itch for a new DSM. I love the 2gb but may go with a decent 1g. Anyways I'm on the search and found a few. I am sure these cars probably belong to members here so maybe they can chime in.

I really want an AWD but these next 2 are clean as hell and are pretty built.

Ok....been awhile since I have been on here but that name really sounds familiar. I'm looking for some feedback on them if you do know about the car. For the FWD guys.....would you go to AWD if you had the choice? I have always loved the AWD but if I find a killer deal on a FWD I may bite. I really am trying to stay with an AWD 2gb though.

My car was FWD, wheel spin gets old really fast. I now own 3 awd/4x4 vehicles if that is any other indication.

Haha, thanks Jason. Ya...the spin would get old fast. I like the fact that the AWD just grabs and goes. Part of the reason I love DSM's. My first Talon was a super clean 97. It was super mint. I ended up selling to Sergio Barros. Then I had another one that was fast as hell but the car was junk. Now, I want to spend the money on a clean solid body. Engines and parts are a dime a dozen.

Project ocd looks like Sergio's 1g. I sold him my red 2gb. He molded it then sold it. Can't remember who he sold it to tho.

Rob and Jason's attention to detail is what pushed me to set the bar high with my build. both cars are a prime example of what a DSM build should look like grin

Haha, so many 2g's (and a few 1g's) fall victim to this all the time. its far too easy to completely butcher a DSM even with the best intentions.

My idea for my car has always been the bumble bee look from transformers, looks like sh!t on the outside but everything you can't see (except for the FMIC) is nice and take car of.

Sounds like a plan.

I may be heading to Toronto this summer, so I'd love to meet up with some members on the way.

Neither will help when chunks fall off an overpass in Montreal.

I cant remember his name either but I bought it from him with a blown turbo. Did a full turbo rebuild and turned out the engine was gone. Then I sold it to Rob C. And you guys know the rest rotate

That car was a tru POS when Sergio had it. That definately changed once Rob C got his hands on it.

The car is straight and clean and was a great starting point. Nothing cut or rusted anywhere, it was just subjected to cheap DSM modding/hacking for a period of time.....

I just finished putting a factory untouched engine harness from Florida without a single spliced wire or alteration onto the harness. Plug in ECMlink and go. No funky wiring business.
