Hello,
I have a 1990 AWD Talon, and recently had my clutch replaced, and the tranny shop said the peice where my release bearing is was worn out. So I found half a tranny housing which was in great shape, and they re did the tranny with the half housing I got them.
Now in gear only, when I let off the gas it has excessive growl, and vibration through the shifter. When it is not in gear it is fine.
When I accelerate it is fine. Only when I let off the gas in gear it really sounds terrible.
The tranny shifts fine, no grind!
Any ideas?
