What turbo do you plan on running Jay? Throw that small 16G on it you have of mine, it'll definitely get you into the 12s for sure!!

Still working out all of the kinks left over from the previous owner, so I'll be doing a lot of maintenance this year as well. I'm not planning much until I get the new engine running and see what it needs. If all goes well and I manage to not break anything, I'll be taking her to the track and hunting for 11s!

The 1G be stock.. stock ic.. bov.. 450 injectors with the auto ecm, using the maft to adjust injector compensation. m even thinkin of fitting a gm maf into he stock air can. And tuning with a safc. and logging with a palm pilot.

old school!

I dont know if ill get in the 12s I just want somethin sandra can beet the hondas with.

and i think ill be going with water injection. I understand it better and takes less tuning adjustments.

Yeah, you'll have a hard time even breaking 14's on that setup, but it will smoke most of the Honda crowd for sure!

Im mainly concerned about the injectors. If I can get my hands on some big injectors for my 2g then Ill use the currant 750s in the 1g but hen Ill have to invest more money into the fuel control. I cant afford to make 2 drag cars. So that may turn out to be a chipped eprom ecu. Or a really good deal on v2.

Now, he's old, too though.

So, I gotta ask, is there going to be a PPG/Peckerhead DSM/Bike race in our future?

I would pay to see that! The leadup smack talk would be legendary and then the post race talk even better.

Probably not. PPG claims that every time he goes to the track it costs him an engine. frown

Ummmm yeah no. I'm done with drag racing. My last trip cost me a ton of money. Besides, I am really not good at it.

Race Andy. Oh wait, he's too slow for all of us :-D #13sallday

The Yellow faggoty wonder should be good for a mid/low 11. (some guys claim a high 10, but I don't think so.

With ME on it. We're looking at the mid 14s range. wink

I'd like to find out, but I've NEVER tried launching it. I'd need some practice... A track day would be good for that... Hmmmmm...

That's too bad Mark.

Would've been awesome to see your car in action again.

They're on VHS.

Asked my cousin if he still had the VHS tapes of when we were down at Cayuga back in the day.

He has 2. We'll see who's in the video. smile

I might watch...but really I don't want to race. I'm happy I made it through last year with nothing breaking. On a side note: It will be 21 years in June that I've owned the PP. Anyone else here that can top that?
