Hey everyone,

I bought a pair of rear AGXs for my 2G AWD and was interested in knowing what anyone was running for settings for launching?

Currently they are set to 6 and it isn't tooth-jarring or anything, but I doubt I would go stiffer on the street. I haven't been back to the track yet, but I did try launching on the street. I spun the crap out of all four (welded diff) so I am assuming that they're too stiff and not allowing enough weight transfer. In all fairness, the tires were fully inflated too so that was probably more the culprit.

In any event, rather than waste runs at the track trying to set the shocks, I was looking for a ball park setting that people are already running and having success with.

Any responses are appreciated....

Ross,

Was wondering how come you have an 8 way adjustment on the back. I have a 95 AWD and my AGXs are 4 way adjustables, front and back.

My rear AGX's are four way adjustable too (from the top, not a knob like the 8 ways).

I think they must have switched part way through production.

I don't know if it's a redesign or what, but from what I know only the fronts are 4-way adjustable from the top of the damper. The rears on my car are 8-way adjustable from the side of the damper under the car.
