I noticed that Kumho just came out with a street tire that is way cheaper then the AVS Sports I'm using now, and they look like they'll work nice . Where would I be able to find these in the Ottawa area for a decent price? Actually- I'd get them in Toronto if I had to.

Incase anyone is wondering about this tire, it's in the new SCC mag, in a Tirerack add.

I just got a price on the Kumho V rated tire last week. $119 each installed and balanced.
They look good for that price!

They are the Kumo XT711, but I think Kumo only makes one V-rated tire anyway. and I
think I may be able to get them cheaper yet. Everywhere I go for a quote, the price keeps dropping. The first place I want to the price was $135, for the same tire. Everyone seams to be able to beat the other guys price. (or something like that)

The tire in the Tirerack ad is the NEW ECSTA Supra 712. It is avalible either in a V or Z rting with a wear rating of 320 and 280 respectively. At a tire dealer today he made an inquiry to Kuhmo Canada and the containers of these destined for the Canadian market have not arrived yet. The esamated delivery is in mid April. Canadian prices have also not been set as of yet either.

I e-mailed Tirerack and asked when there would be info on these tires on their website, and here is my answer:

Well then what was I looking at? The dealer had the tire on display, and they were kumo v rated, but I'm not sure what the wear rating was.
