I currently have the 92' stock n/t fuel pump still in the tank of my now turbo'd n/t.

I am experiencing fuel cut at around 13psi. I have no way to log at this time to see what the MAF is doing etc when this happens.

My dilema is whether or not to install my MAF-T setup and using the anti fuel cut feature, so I can run around 15 psi.

What I am asking is will the stock pump keep up or should I put a 190 walbro or at least a stock "turbo" pump in there before setting the maf-t up?

Grenon, I'm at work, so I have nothing better to do, so I'm doing a bit of searching for you. From what I can tell though, I believe the NT pump doesn't flow as much as the turbo ones, but wouldn't know for sure without the Denso part #. However, you should definitely be fine with just a regular stock turbo one at 15psi.

Here is a good list of numerous different pumps and their flow rates if you wanted to check it out though.

Fuel cut doesnt occur because of a lack of fuel, so that shouldnt be youre real issue here.

IMO I wouldn't run a stock N/A fuel pump on any boosted application as it won't flow sufficient enough. I'd say get it out and put a Walbro (Whinebro) in before you start hearing gunshots from your engine (detonation).

figure out why it is "fuel cutting" before messing with it further.

if it is stock level boost the NT pump should be OK.

I know for fact that 1992 Galant AWD turbo and Non turbo has the same fuel pump. I also htink they DSMs have different pumps but that tells me the pumps are THAT different.

I've got a logger cable coming. I think once I have the info from that I can figure out what really is going on and make a judgemnet from there.
