Well over the years I've played with 4g63's 420a's and the SOHC And DOHC Neons Turboed most of them np.

Anyway what I noticed recently while installing a SRT4 Turbo manifold turbo downpipe onto my 98 Neon that the flanges are the same as the 420a. Since they are basically the same motor. Anyways, the header should bolt directly up the only problem I could see ever coming into way is the turbo sits pretty high on the header if it clears the hood you could have a CHEAP turbo setup and fast.

I bought my SRT4 turbo setup off neoncanada for $250
It included the Header, Turbo, Built in BOV, and a wastegate set for 4.5PSI if its straight vacum hose onto the mani. I made a quick downpipe and charge pipe and it ran good forever, oh and a set of oil lines made with 3/8" NPT with a nipple on it and SS line gear clamped on. Ran the feed off the back of the block and the return to the pan It took me about 6 hours to install.

Now on a 95+ Talon Eclipse it would even be easier for the exhaust etc. If any of you 420a guys are looking for a quick turbo setup check into it clearing the hood I would imagine it would.

Its a TD04LT turbo so basically a 14b.

Anyway let me know if anyone finds out if it clears the hood.

1991 Eagle Talon TSi and thats all you need to know.

That's not a bad idea really.. would i need to use the intake and exhaust manifolds from the SRT-4?

I was just doing some research on 2gnt and guys there saying it absolutely will not fit and not worth the trouble making it fit. I was thinking of going this route too on my beater ESI but I donno if it is really worth it.
