I knew it was some kind of wire issue. smile

Glad you worked it out, and hope that's the end of it.

Update:

Well I thought I had it nipped in the butt! The electrical demon came back and got me again.

After exhausting almost everything, I had a feeling it was fuel related.

A little while back when I had the fuel pump problem it was giving me the same starting issue.

I removed the fuel pump assembly.
The bolt that the power wire connects to was not properly isolated!!! I had a rubber grommet on top and below the sending unit. I forgot to place it on the bolt that goes thru the sending unit. This was causing me the ISSUE.
Placed a rubber grommet on the bolt and re-installed everything.

Tested the car...it started right away. No sluggish starting at all. Ran the car for about 10 minutes in the driveway while I was cleaning up the garage. Drove the car for 10 minutes around the block. Worked very well. Shut the car off in the driveway, and came back to it after 1/2 hour. Started again with out any issues, drove around the block a few more times and still no issues.

I think I have it fixed.
We will see tomorrow morning on the way to work. Cross my fingers that it’s done.

Thank you all for your help and points.

Will
