I couldn't find stats on the difference between td05 and td05h, h is highflow?

Good info! They also bumped the flow from 48 to 51 lb per minute. Looking stock and have more flow is the winner for me. Even more excited now!

td05h is better flowing.. But not much higher flowing. Either housing is gonna be the same as far as restricting the potential of the conpressor. Specially when running wheels the size of 20gs. Hence why the tdo6 hot side makes alot more power on the 20g. I blieve the new hta 68 exhaust wheel is a tdo6 wheel in a board out 8cm td05 housing.

Keep in mind that people were recording more than 48 lbs/min with the old 68hta. Some have complained about the spool of the new one, stating that they were surprised on how laggy it was. I don't believe FP ever verified this and I do not like to spread misinformation but it's has been said that the new 68hta utilizes the same turbine wheel as the new Evo x 18k turbo if people are familiar with those at all(?) it's also a pretty sweet turbo for the x platform.

Well its not the EvoX 18k wheel. Its closer to the 06sl2 wheel but its a 9 blade. Which makes it sound alot like Buschers old br20-9-5 turbo. Other then it used a twinscroll for the old Evos. Wonder if FP bought Buschers old wheels. Lal

Either way. You guys who have ordered them.. You did read on their site that because of the high demand, they have non instock and have to biuld them. Which also may mean they have to order more parts to be fabricated.

While this is active I have a vague question and apologize for asking.:) From what I've read the hx35 in a bep is "as fast as a 16g" at spooling.??? And flows around the same as the FP68. Does anyone have any experience with these claims and is the 68 capable of pushing "20 psi @ 3500rpm" on mild mods??

I had my bogwarner hitting 30psi by 3800rpms. And making 53lbs/m. My currant hx35 8blade is making 56lbs/m in the 12cm twinscroll housing. And 29psi by 4300rpms. But I could get it down to 4100roms with my quick spool valve. I would assume that the bolt on housing would spool faster, around the same as the Borgwarner. Altho the Holset is making more theoretical power at the same psi.


Now that being said.. At no point on the street did I ever think... "full boost at 4100rpms.. This is too slow"

Before I had the big turbos.. I ran a BR20g.. Which has a tiny bit bigger compressor then the 68. But only a clipped td05 wheel and 7cm ported housing. I had it spooling alittle faster then the Borgwarner.. But could never get it above 48lbs/m at full kill mode. The bigger exhaust wheel on the new hta68 will help it breath, but theres a few guru's that believe that 51+lbs/m can only be achieved in full kill mode. (maxing out the turbo). With a Billet wheel upgrade on my Holset... Im good for 60+lbs/m.

My "goal" all motor as this is for a boat, would be 400hp MAX,Ideally 300-350 at 4500rpm...it will have to.maintain that RPM and power level for up to 6 hours straight!

That'll require a large fuel tank.

Bought this turbo in 2010 and recently got the car back together, thanks to DYNOTUNERACING. Did a pull last night in 3rd gear: 6700 RPM, 26.5 psi, flowing 47.6 lbs/min. The turbo is also building 30 psi by 4300 rpm, working on getting it to spike to 34/35.
