In one of my surfs across the web i found this site giving a how-to listing of some simple dsm testing procedures. Thought it might be helpful.

Procedures
The list includes:
Idle Stepper Control Motor (ISC Motor)
Throttle Postition Sensor (TPS)
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Idle Position Switch
Oxygen Sensor
Injectors
Solenoids
Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Crank Angle Sensor/TDC Sensor
Alternator
