So I've recently been having this problem with every time I start my car, the first time I do a WOT pull, or, if its colder and I apply throttle, the car will run rich, pegged at 10.0:1 on the wideband and the car stutters with lots of whiteish smoke coming from behind me. Anything after that, the car runs perfectly fine. It's just the first time the car gets a decent amount of throttle, it does this.

I also believe that my new ISC is blown, which I could only think to be caused by my FIAV leaking. Could the FIAV be leaking, breaking the ISC, then under throttle, the engine ingests the water causing the rich condition?

In my car every once in a while it will go pig rich (pegged at 10.0 AFR like yours) during a WOT pull. Won't do it before or after, and if I let off and go back WOT it often goes back to 'normal'...never did figure it out, as it was so sporadic and infrequent that I didn't have much data to go with and it was not high on my list of things to deal with.

But, I am curious to see what is causing yours and if it could be causing my car to do the same.

Probably. I try to log as many drives as possible.

Salomon, I aim for the same afr's, but for a lean condition when building boost. Lean =hotter= takes up more space= more exhaust.

Salomon, out of curiosity, is your FAIV hooked up and are you running meth injection?

FAIV is hooked up, ISC seems to be working (also tested the resistances across it all and everything checked out) and no meth injection.

And to answer Bryan's question, no, it doesn't necessarily happen the first time.
