Ok, here is my new gremlin! Car seems to deal with one only to inherit a few more.

Was having issue with no fuel pump even with Link V3 box checked and simply wired straight from Fuel/mpi relay blk/blue wire and voila! Now I have fuel but NO SPARK!

Have coil on plug set up wired this way.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/290665-coil-plug-wiring-install-pics.html

I also wired my transistor like this.
Stock (2g) 8 pin connector wire colors:
pin 1: blue-black (output to fire cyl 2,3 coil's primary)
pin 2: brown-red (input from ECU to fire cyl 2,3)
pin 3: black (ground)
pin 4: white (tach output to ECU and gauge)
pin 5: unused
pin 6: larger black-white (+12V from ignition switch)
pin 7: black-blue (input from ECU to fire cyl 1,4)
pin 8: black-white (output to fire cyl 1,4 coil's primary but leaves coil as blue-red going to single pin "engine speed detection connector", then from there to pin 8 here as black-white)

Why am I getting no spark with plug tester??

When I turn the cas by hand I know that would usually kick on fuel pump and create spark but now it doesn't do anything.

ECU directly pin 88, 89 to cas white and yellow wire.

Ground I soldered to ECU sensor ground out and 12+ to the Fuel pump mpi relay red wire.

Ok community!! Hit me with suggestions!!

Do you actually have power and ground at the CAS?

Ran sensor ground from ecu directly to cas and red wire from Fuel relay under radio per say.

Other 2 wires were pin #88, 89 from ecu that went to white and yellow wire on CAS.

That's it.

What am I missing here?

I mean have you actually tested for power and ground? Or just wired it asuming you have everything.

Yes I actually took tester and have +12v (batt) at the sensors. Tested using ground wire from sensor itself too.

What I am thinking is that I may have grounded certain sensors to body that needed to be only sensor ground from ECU.
"All sensors ground wires should have continuity to engine/body except the special signal grounds that should only go to ECU pin 92 (manifold diff pressure, engine coolant temp, front O2, rear O2, TPS, volume air flow (MAF), and on the 98 & 99 fuel tank diff pressure). "
ill have to double check and see what I did. That being said I doubt that would cause a no start or no spark per say now.

I dont know forsure. But Is the CAS 12v sensor or a 5v?

Correct it's 5 volts.
141/391 it states that the power supply for sensors is 5 volts

Incorrect.
The power supply for the CAS is 12v
however the signals for the cam and crank are 5v

My bad Mike is correct, just confirmed it is 12 volts.
FSM is a little confusing to read.

so how do I test the cas?
ECU pin #88, #89 are going directly to the cas. Should I make sure its only 5v when rotating it manually with key on?
Let me know as this car I feel like taking a match to it sometimes!!

Its all good once I sort through it but right now bit frustrating.

Its probably something really dumb like the issue I had with no fuel pump going on even using linkv3.

The checkbox from v3 to turn on fuel pump would trigger the relay but nothing in rear of car.
I ended up checking continuity from that blk blue wire and was not getting it. I simply hard wired the pump to the relay signal wire and now it works like a charm. Something between front of car wire to rear of car to my A1000 was messed clipped broken cut who knows, point is that this is probably something like that. This car was running before.

Thanks

Ya you can test the cam and crank signal wires going to the ecu. Making sure they do something when spinning the cas.

If everything has power and injectors are not clicking and the plugs aren't firing when turning the cas, somethings up, do you still have the mpi wired up?,

The mpi fuse Is one with fuel right? We talking about the same thing?
If so yes there!

MPI still there. Grounded the PTU with custom bracket.

Willing to try any suggestion.
Wondering how to wire this directly so that I can eliminate other flaws if any...........
