The 2G sits differently than the 1G. This is going to be as hidden as possible in the stock location But thank you for the offer. And likewise, I'm looking forward to see how it will turn out myself! It will be far from "show car", I am just going for clean and simple.

I got everything done for speed density, she's all dialed in for cruising and now just need to finish up with some WOT tuning.

So far I'm liking it, I started with the Evo 8 mod 1 base to start off, which seems to give a nice little punch in the bottom end over the old setup.

Thanks Petro. Its absolutely dead! I've seen about 10 DSMs with eight being none turbo near fall apart condition. There was this nice lowered Spyder on the way home the other day.


Overall my DSM gets serious attention from exotic car drivers.
So many flyby's ...

Yup, a southwestern US visit is definitely in the works for me this year. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I've never been to California. I hope to correct that oversight this fall.

I'll be there 26-29/30 next week, but in San Fran, not LA. If all goes well, the move will be mid-late August. My buddy is going to take me through all the mountain roads (Skyline Drive, Alice's, LA Honda, etc.) in that area in his built Evo X.

I've got lots of family in LA so you can expect me to be down there somewhat regularly if I am in SF.

Trying to figure out a way to cut out the front windshield now. Kinda have an idea. My windshield puller is not fun or easy at all.

I just watched someone remove a windshield last week with a reciprocating saw and an scrapper attachment like this guy (http://www.milwaukeetool.com/accessories/cutting/49-00-5456). Took him longer to remove the trim then it did the windshield.

Tempting. Can't make a mess of it though. Already got some cracks starting in the windshield.

I started on the wire tuck. Most of the things on the engine are plugged in already

you are making some serious progress on that engine bay, IMO working on a bay thats been tucked is so damn easy.

Can't wait to see it in its finished state.

Bad picture but this is what it looked like when I got it

I have to say I hate seeing wire tucks in person because it makes me feel like my engine bay is messy, even after all the cleanup I have done.
I think I may look into some wire tucking soon, need to ask the experts for some advice though.

Them tail lights and downwards facing exhaust arent to my taste. Also, best recirculate the BOV w/stock MAF.

Other than that, nice! The more I see the convertables, the more I want them.

It's a 1GB N/T that sold a while back on here, it was the one with the dent and all the scratches on the rear passengers side, the rest of the car is min so I have been pulling a bunch of parts off of it.
