Ok, this issue is kicking my butt... putting the car back together and all the light on the front work expect for the turn signals... Rears work no problem and the 4 ways work (rears only) no problem so I do not think it is a flash/turn signal module issue...

The turn signals blink fast like when a bulb is burned out (checked that I do not have any burnt bulbs)... It is a 91 so only the centre lights should blink...

I cleaned up the connectors, and tested the voltage... I seem to have voltage but I think the ground on them is missing (both sides)...

Before I start cutting into the harness and do a custom ground am I missing something? I have grounds hooked up on each side of the front of car by the headlights...

How easy would it be for you to set up a temporary ground to the body at the light? It would at least allow you to confirm that's the missing piece..

Kind of pain. But it is my next step. Hoping I am being and idiot and forgot to plug something in.

On 1gs everything has power so you are going to need to trace the ground as that would be the issue.
Here is the electrical FSM, you will need to figure out where your ground isn't being made. Just realized that you have a 1gb and those are a bit different.
Hopefully someone with that FSM can chime in.

Are you sure your bulbs are good?

Ok well the bulbs work. Connected directly to the battery.

I also used some length of wires from the housing for the power and then to a ground on the car but that does not work either. So I am confused now. Any connectors under the dash for the front lights? Rear work no problem as do all the other front lights.

Any ideas?

Sorted it out... The wires were rotted. Need to take about 5 inches on one side and 9 inches on the other. Black and brittle non conductive.

Worked out a hack for the race but will need to find some proper connectors or pins to fix it correctly.

Check the connector and make sure there isn't a short. There was for mine.
