I picked up a alt relocation kit .. Did not realize it was for a 1g
My Evo has a 2g block .

Can the 1g kit be fitted to work on a 2g motor ?
If so what needs to be done ?

Thanks

I thought the kit was specific to the body, not the motor. =/

So did I ... But my carrier for front cv shaft bolts up in different holes then in the 1g so. It poses a issue

They still have the same holes on the back side of the block but one has one more hole, can't remember if its the 1g or 2 block. I know I designed my coil pack relocation kit to use the same holes and it works on either block.

Yes they both have 3 holes in a row .. But on 1g the carrier uses holes 1&2 and the alt bracket uses 2&3

My set up the carrier uses 2&3 same as the alt kit so the stepping in the bracket is wrong cause the carrier has to have proper spacing ..
