Here is the currant 2015 Shannonville Motorsports Park schedule for Mix'n'Matches and Test'n'Tunes.

Mix'n'Matchs are $30 to race on both Drag strip, and road coarse. You can play on both! Usually from 6-9pm
Test'n'tunes are just Drag strip, but are $25 from 5:30-10pm And are usually followed by professional drag racing the next day.

There is also many Drifting events, and Pay-per-lap days aswell.

Theree lots of places to camp.. But Im sure we can figure something out. I have a huge back yard.

I'm always down for track days. May 8th they have the full road course going all day. I'll be there for that one!

So Armdrop jus announced a full weekend june 20-21! Full armdrop drags... Tractor pulls!.. Car show! ...On site camping... And a Dyno! Im gonna assume 2wd tho. This is also the same weekend, Shannonville is hosting an event. So 3 days in a row of racing!!

I may have to come up for something this year, our local track just got shut down.

The small 1/8th mile track in St. Elie Quebec.

To sum it up, a property developer bought all the land around it, it used to be an old airport, well the land wasn't selling cause no one wants to build next to a racetrack, so he bribed all the neighbors to put in complaints to the city, it went to court about 2 years ago, the judgement was finally laid down last week, no further motorsports allowed at the site(there's also a motocross track on site). To top it off, the owner has to pay out about $95 000 in "damages" to the 16 complainers

Brutal! I d buy a house next to a race track! Hell give me the infield and let the roar of engines lull me to sleep! As long as I got enough space for that dream of a larger than 1 car garage

Shannonville is your next closest track?

No, I've got Napierville and Sanair, both are 2 hours away then New England Dragway in NH at 3 hours away.

That's awful... Hard to believe the judge was in favor of the developer to that extent, especially if the track was situated for awhile, very strange.

We still have alot of good options for tracks around here. Shannonville is a regular visit for me every year, also have Luskville, Naperville, Calabogie. All within 2 hours drive, but Shannonville is the cheapest

Bah, haven't even called to put insurance back on yet. Discovered a fuel leak. So not this guy likely.

I still have another 550km's to go of clutch break-in before I go... Resisting WOT has been excruciating!

Well... Shannonvile tried a wednesday night mix n match.

Cool thing was, that brought out maybe 10 cars. And since there wasnt enough people heat the track up... The big trailer drag cars went home early.

There was no staging time.. All the cars wer on the return track!

BUT
.. Even tho I had a couple awsome launches... The Borg Warner and the new cams were too much for my clutch! Launched fine... But as son as I was in any serious boost.... The clutch stopped holding.

Boo.
And now I have no clutch at all. Drove home, bu she will sit till I can get a newclutch.

What clutch were you using?

Its a Act 2600, street disk, and lightweight wheel. Atleast 5-6 years old with lots af abuse.

For the record tho.. First run was a 1.9 60ft.. But a 14 second run with nothing after 5600rpms. And I still beat a RX8!!!

Nlts seems natural now. And I love it!

The turned the boost up a tiny bit.. Lanched great, but missed 2nd. Still smoked the mustang with a 12.9@117!!

Ran out of time. But im at 28psi and week timing. So Ive got a little ways to go. Plus it wont stay cool in the staging lanes.. And its running hot.

Good runs! A bit more boost (and no missed gears ) should net you an 11

So I ran tonite.. and about half way down the strip... I heard squealing from the airfilter... and then no boost and lots of smoke.

trailered her home. wont be able to check it out till monday.

It was the turbo.. Waaayy too much shaft play now..
