I'll be good for any Sunday as well, once I find the right alternator belt. I'll also be taking the car off the road around mid October, depending on the weather.

Yeah I am with Corte, seems like the only place mid way to most of us. Shannonville is 3 hours for me.

Well boys, thanksgiving weekend is upon us. AND the weather is supposed to be perfect Saturday through Monday. Is anyone else interested in going?
So far, Jerry, maybe Tim, myself and two of my buddies are going to be going.

If anyone else cares to join in the cruise down on Monday, Jerry, Deep, my cousin with his truck and me will be going as a group.
Jeremy, you totally should come. Last year, there were 3 cars there other than me.

It wasn't a stock 7 bolt, I didn't find out until the winter that it was a built block. But I kept the boost low enough to be safe on a stock block. There's definitely lots of bugs to work out, and the 2g intake manifold really goes against where the rest of the engine wants to flow .

When I ran my first 10.7 pass I didn't need to rev over 8.5k. Stock block, stock head(only bc 272 cams), stock trans, and stock intake manifold. However that was a pretty mild street setup which didn't need to be revved high at all.
I was thinking the same, stroker should have a good usable power band, no?

Did you say you're taking a stroker to 9.5k? Is this a 2.3L stroker? Yes, it's 2.3 stroker 10.5:1 cr , I rev 9k for past 3 years with no problems . I need that extra 500 RPM because I'm auto too & last time I simply run out of RPM before traps so I switched to neutral .
