Not sure where else to post this but seeing as I came across a 10+ year old momo steering wheel, and seeing as I can weld now.. I did this in under 20 mins.

Disregard the sticker on the side saying it has a 20.5 turbo twin cylinder.

Am actually using a 18hp Briggs and Stratton. High flow fuel filter. And that's it.

I'd like to upgrade the deck wheels from the hard plastic ones to the air filled independent suspension ones. Welding if necessary.

I just got a nice deal on a old mower that my neighbor was going to toss. it sounds like it has some crazy piston slap when warming up as you can hear metal on metal until it warms up and it back fires everytime I shut it down, but it still cuts beuatifully so maybe will have that as a project this winter.

I love screwing around with small engines. Simplest and cheapest form of "hot rodding" tongue

I'm thinking that this should be a goal at some point for any lawnmower mod project. Tube frame, anyone?

We named the beast the widow maker. Was a blast to build, scary to ride. Lots of beers were needed to build this lol

Built anything that still cuts grass? If I plan to do a build it will be one that can still be used for cutting.

+1.

I want to upgrade the deck next season. POR15 and likely weld up some new brackets to mount some heavier duty air filled tires.

If there was only a way I could an AWD swap. smile

You can mike, some of the more expensive mowers have an awd setup in them, will definitely cost a pretty penny though.
