I would like to start off by saying that I have been lurking around on these forums for the last few months. I am finally grateful to be a member here and would like to introduce myself in this first post.

As the title says, I just recently bought out RTM RACING from the one and only Ziggy! The last two months have been extremely busy as Ziggy and I have been working on the logistics of the sale of his beloved RTM RACING. As of February 1st, RTM Racing has officially been passed onto me. Although Ziggy is still running the business for the next few weeks, I am actually sitting with him on a daily basis, learning the complete business, which includes the website, ordering process, and all other logistics on the back end of the business which keeps it running. My goal here is to keep the same level of service that Ziggy has provided to you over the last 10+ years. I will still be making weekly trips over to the US to get all the parts you need on a timely basis, exactly the same as Ziggy has done over the years.

One the main changes that is being implemented in the next two weeks is the move of RTM Racing from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Pickering, Ontario.

RTM Racing will be operating out of the same address as Dynotune Racing Inc. Majority of you are obviously not familiar with me as I am still a newbie, but as time goes on that will definitely change

I am also the business partner and very close relative of Reza Mirza, one of your well respected members here and owner of Dynotune Racing Inc. We have partnered together and are currently working very hard on the launch of the new shop which will be opening its doors this month. RTM Racing will continue to operate business as usual, and the goal is to not interrupt any service, except for the few days that we will need for the physical move. I believe Reza will officially announce the opening of his shop sometime this month.

All inventory for RTM Racing will be moved to the same unit as Dynotune Racing Inc. Reza is working very hard right now to have the shop launched within the next few weeks, but the goal here is to have them both roll out simultaneously so that all of our customers will have a store front in the GTA to come to and a great tuning facility to service your performance needs. This will be a one of a kind facility complete with a state of the art AWD Dyno. RTM Racing and Dynotune Racing will be working directly with each other to service and answer all of your needs. Reza with his great skills and knowledge will be here to assist me on a daily basis with the technical side of the business.

This will be your one stop shop for all your performance needs, from engine builds, transmission builds, dyno tuning and parts purchases. I will be taking care of all the parts that you need and Reza will be applying his expertise to all of your builds and tuning needs. We are also actively looking to expand into other import markets like the Subaru BRZ/WRX/STI, Supra, Evo X and Honda's.

The next few weeks we will be extremely busy as we move the business from one city to another. With that said, I just wanted to say "Hi" again to everyone and I am hoping to meet you all and get to know you on a personal basis. Come early spring, we will hold a nice meet at the shop and I hope to meet you all then.

I want to be the first to offer congrats to both you and Reza!

As Abbas said, we have been working closely for months now to make this happen, and I think it is fantastic for EVERYONE!

Abbas and Reza have the knowledge and contacts to grow RTM Racing far beyond anything I would have been capable of. Abbas is going to maintain the great service RTM has become famous for, and this is going to free up some of my time. Some of it will be spent relaxing, but some of it will be spent in my garage with my CNC machine working on new projects for the DSM community that Abbas will then sell through RTM Racing!

I want to thank everyone here for the support over the last years, and assure you all I am not going anywhere (other than maybe another vacation or two)! I will still be on the forums here, and I am behind Abbas 100% and will offer any and all assistance I possibly can to Abbas and Reza. I hope you guys all support Abbas and Reza the way you have supported me.

I think everyone on here knows Reza is an honest, no bullshit kind of guy, and I can assure you after working closely with Abbas for a couple of months, he is the same. He has seen the level of care and honesty I show my customers, and he will be operating in the exact same way, only more efficiently, as he is not an old dinosaur like I am

Anyways, congrats guys, and let us know when the "grand opening" is going to be. I plan to be there!

Sad to see Ziggy go, but I honestly can't imagine any better scenarios that are more beneficial to this community.

The fact that the store will be in a central location to the majority of this community, really does change the game for a lot of us, and in a good way!

And for that reason alone, I think this business will prosper.

Ziggy, definitely don't be a stranger! I'll probably have the odd machining request for you in the upcoming months so make sure you don't go on vacation for too long Make lots of time for yourself and hopefully we'll see you out at some of the events now that you should have a little more time!

Question regarding US customers. Are you still planning to support US sales like Ziggy did?

On the side note, Lowe's bought Rona & Dynotuneracing bought RTM Racing. Interesting week so far

Although these are two separate businesses it only made sense to operate out of the same location. Too many positives to mention. Dynotune Racing is owned by me and RTM Racing is now owned by Abbas.

Alex, yes he will still support US Sales and soon you will start to see full transmissions built by me that you can purchase directly through RTM Racing. We will also be providing packaging and shipping of transmissions across the country.

Very exciting times ahead for the whole community here.

As mentioned above, there are SO MANY reasons why this is a win for EVERYONE. I could not have imagined a better scenario!

Yes, I will be attending more events now. The shootout is on the list, the only remaining question there is whether on 4 wheels or by scooter. I will be available for some machining jobs, and creating some new product also, now that there is time for R&D, but the biggest thing is I will be supporting Abbas (and Reza) in any way I can!

Again, guys, congrats to both Abbas and Reza, and really looking forward to a meet at your shop....hopefully a "grand opening" type thing!

I think there is a lot of opportunity being taken advantage of here - which is a good thing.

Congrats guys. The secret sauce that RTM had was Ziggy and his personal focus on customer service. I'm sure it's well known that he goes way above and beyond what's typical in the industry. I hope some of that focus carries over - you've got some huge shoes to fill.

Jeff and Jay, I also agree with you guys! Ziggy has always went above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. Rest assured I will give my 100% all, so the DSM community does not feel a void left by Ziggy's passing of the torch. Sorry I did not get a chance to thank you all individually. I would just like to tell all of you THANK YOU SO MUCH for the kind words and warm welcome! I can not wait to meet all you in person at our new location. I know it might be a little bitter sweet for some people with this huge announcement.But Reza and I know this will mean huge excitement for the dsm community in the next few months to come!

So aside of the grand opening.. Is there a ballpark date, that one could show up at the new rtm and grab a few gaskets?

Wow, this is a big change.

Looking forward to the progress and results that Ziggy and Paul were able to accomplish.

I have purposefully linked many threads on the (majority of users) US side with RTMRacing.com product and look forward to doing so in the future. Part of our community is small in numbers so it bears reasons that those who put major efforts into keeping the community backed with parts options, should first and foremost get our support.

I help keep www.4g61t.org going in this same direction.
Being an Admin means I can do this and keep an eye on things.
Ziggy and Paul have answered many of my strange and off the wall questions, and my C53A is where it is today, because of their help. They are my go to parts people when I can't source something local, and yes, I am employed in the auto/shop industry.
They are the support on this side of the border, hands down.

Markets are much larger in the US, but with the dollar difference currently lingering, it would make sense for many US guys to buy from us now.

So, I have seen the reins passed over, but curious where Paul stands with all the change. Will we still get him on the other end of the phone too? Machine side (w/Ziggy) or new shop side (w/Abbas/Reza)? Maybe I missed this part because I got here on page 3/4.

Thanks everyone for their kind words, and for their support! Paul's future is a little uncertain. RTM is not in a position to hire help immediately, though Paul is working there for a few days right now to help with the move and the inventory counting and storage, and to get them on track on their first shipping day. After that, he will return to the falls, where I will keep him employed as much as possible on the machining side. He is in a unique situation residence wise, such that he does not need a huge income to live off of, and can afford to work only part time if he so chooses.

For phone calls, Abbas will shortly (if not already) be announcing the new RTM phone number. The old number will probably go to a message announcing the new number, and my cell number for personal calls. Paul will probably let all calls go to the machine for that message.

I would GUESS that when Abbas reaches the point where he needs to hire help...and I am thinking that COULD happen as early as this spring/summer....Paul would be the first guy he would go to. I would hate to lose him on the machining side, but he has to think about his own best interests..

Thanks Tim for your past and future referrals. The exchange rate really does not make RTM more attractive to US buyers, as we (Abbas, that is) purchase in the US, so all RTM pricing fluctuates as the dollar fluctuates.

Ive always been excited about my purchases from RTM because transactions and interactions have always gone extremely smooth

I look forward to future dealings with RTM racing. And I like the fact that Reza is now in the mix too. Ive never personally dealt with him, but I do know of his reputation.

Sorry to necrobump, but I barely had time to read the boards let alone post when this handover took place. I'm excited to meet Abbas and see the new RTM Racing; can't wait for your grand opening guys!

For Ziggy, two things: First and foremost, I cannot thank you enough for your and Paul's help over the years. You guys accommodated me on so many occasions I lost count. I will sincerely miss the drives down to Niagara to poke around RTM.

Secondly I'd like to congratulate you on not only finding an exit route for yourself, but finding someone to whom you can pass on the business you built from the ground up, confident that the reputation for integrity which you developed will remain unblemished.

Reza's got a new shop, with RTM welded to the side.. Ziggy's off on retirement, we've got new records being broken by 1Gs and 2Gs... It's going to be one hell of a year, gents!

I'm never around much so this is news to me.

Sad to see Ziggy go as he was a great help to me many times when getting parts for my car.
