Hey guys, how much timing is too much?. I'm at 19deg at 36psi with meth and 94 oct and no knock. Afr is around 12.0 near the top end. Should I just keep adding till it knocks?

Just make sure your knock sensor is working!
I was wondering the same yesterday at 18 deg. I wasn't running quite as much boost as you but still more than I've ever run.

I almost like to see a couple of low phantom counts just to be sure it's still there.

The sensor is working, it shows up a .4 here and there.

How much meth are you dumping in and what is your mixture Paul?

Seems almost too good to be true eh?

I'm using 625ml and 225ml nozzle with 60%meth. I was going to turn it up to 40psi but it just seems like a lot of boost. I'm at 90% on the boost controller at 36psi. With 3 back to back 3/4 pulls the water and oil temps never went over 90degC, so all the ducting works great.

I did some searching and found this thread.
What are guys running now a days?

I'm running bone stock internals with a Devils own DO14 nozzle and 94 octane.
Anywhere from 27-34 psi and I just increased timing up to 20deg peak. My afrs are hovering around 11.8 occasionally dipping into the 12.0 depending on the day.

Do I keep increasing the timing? Lean it out more? Stop while I'm ahead?

I was just talking to Paul.. I believe he said he's in the 40s on his white car. And A lot more timing. But he stopped tuning.. Hasn't hooked up a laptop in 3 years. Lal

Plus the White car is a half mile only car now.
