Seems like a pretty good deal for what your getting. If I had a use for the air chisel I would probably grab it. Impact wrench is 420lb so not too bad but not fantastic.

Air chisels are great for getting off things you would normally beat on with a hammer ...but probably shouldn't. Stuck axels, brake rotors etc. Just put a blunt head on it , a little heat and BBBRRRR....off.

Yeah, mine has saved me many times. Better than mushrooming it with a BFH.

They take seized wiper arms off like a dream. Got me out of a pinch when I broke two 24" breaker bars trying to get an axle nut off my subaru, just cut the damn nut off, prob solved.

Hm maybe I will just see if I can find a good air chisel, is there any specs I need to look for?

BPM and stroke. Just like all the other great things in life. Also unlike all other air tools they dont like to be oiled often once a year and only a drop.

I bought this kit last boxing day at that price, to find out if uses 1/4" fittings... I'm 3/8's everywhere so I returned it.

Why? 1/4 is the industry standard.

But yeah I agree with Stephen, when I am doing most of my car stuff I am using 1/4

I meant air fittings not 1/4 sockets.

Should be easy and cheap to get a reducer fitting.

They are good kits for occasional use. Cant go wrong with the price. But if you are a heavy user than go with something better. They will end up failing over time. But when on sale you can buy 3 of these kits for the price of 1 good impact gun lol.
