Anyone know any good tricks to make a car more drivable while I wait for my new IACV to arrive? Just adjust the drop throttle screw maybe? She'll idle at about 550 rpm but doesn't like it and stalls now and then and of course drops really fast on deceleration

Pretty sure but I'll double check everything on the weekend. It went from idling perfect when I left the house to struggling to idle when I got to work so that's why I suspect the IACV. No other driving issues other than idle, that I've noticed. The resistance across the coils is higher than spec too. Cant really do the other check without the special test harness. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Adjust the BISS hot and then live with a high cold idle for now.

So with the engine hot, adjust the BISS to a reasonably stable idle but I'll have to live with it idling high when cold?

Yep and maybe unplug the IAC so that it's consistent. You might end up with a high idle some of the time but at least it's not stalling.

I'll give that a try this evening, thanks to both to the input.
