Has anyone found a suitable replacement fabric on the sunroof shade? It's very thin (maybe 1/16") foam backed fabric.

I've tried local upholsters but they are whats become a pretty typical level of poor service around here ("yeeeeah, we don't stock anything like that here. It will be at least 3 weeks and probably $50 shipping for thaaat...and it will probably be the wrong stuff when it gets here" [use a slack jawed accent for full effect]). The interweb is yielding poor results as well so far. Let me know if anyone has had any success on this.

When we redid headliner we just used felt, would that not work?

i guess so. so you just mean some felt from like from a fabric store? Were you happy with the the color and texture match versus OEM? With the sunshade I still have the OEM headliner right, so matching is more important since the new and old are right next to each other.

Yeah and we used 3m 77 spray glue after scrubbing off what was there. Wasn't a concern for me as I completely changed it to Marvel but I am sure you could take it with you and try and match.

That's a good idea. I'll definitely take a look at that. Thanks Bryan.

Changed it to Marvel?

Talk about a blast from the past lol

I heard the old headliner made its way to one of Stacey's cars. Glad it's still kicking.

That's the solution I'm currently working with, although I will try and fix it. Mine didn't rattle...at least not any louder than as my exhaust could drown out :-) Amazing how many squeaks and rattles a 3" exhaust fixes.

The only thing better than owning a parts car is having friend with a parts car...and when that friend has no car to use the parts on its even better.
