Hi, my car needs a serious sex change! It's an automatic! I was wonderin if anyone knows how to convert it to a standard? I should beable to get the parts and everything but the labour costs are gonna be insane, so I wanna do it myself really badly or if someone could help me out. Also what aftermarket parts should I get and what parts from a stock standard talon from maybe a reckors. Well if someone could help me out I would drive down to the destination and of course pay u for your troubles. I hate havin an auto, it's time for a change. thx -Jesse

Mike actually did this to his car, and I think the website said it only took him 9-10 hours, which means at least 20 for a normal person [Linked Image]

Actually, if you work out the cost, and if you do it yourself it doesn't seem to be too bad. Finding GOOD parts, like a GOOD tranny might be a different story though. I mean, the wrecker gives a warrenty, but that still won't cover the labour of taking the tranny out again and putting the next one in.
