So what do you guys think, i usually get more acceleration when easing off the throttle (ie part throttle) than full throttle. Is this an indication of a bad TPS? Plugs, wires, O2 are all good. There should be no "phantom" knock as this is a newly rebuilt motor.

What dy'all think?

If your TPS was bad, you should get a CE light. If it was not adjusted correctly, you would have the exact problem your seeing. Check the adjustment by following the procedures in the manual.

Its more than likely a fuel issue. Start there.

I kind of have the same problem. When i put the car in neutral and bring the rpms up to 3000, then take my foot off the gas. It hangs there for about 2-3 seconds and then drops back to normal is this normal? What did you find out about your problem it may help me.

Thanks
