So i was driving along and suddenly three lights came on at the same time: Engine Coolant, Battery, and Brake. The engine didn't feel any different and i was driving normal.

Does anybody have ideas on what could be causing all three to stay on? Seems odd.

alternator...probably dims a bit in unison to you rpms going higher. But it is 99.9999999999% alternator. Check the alt relay under the hood(by battery)make sure that the battery posts are clean and try to test and replace asap. if you let it go too long you will fry your battery too...unless it a bad battery that made your alternator work harder and blew it.

Most times people end up relacing the alt and battery at same time.

Thanks Darren. I'm not mechanically inclined, so i'll have somebody check it for me. I can't believe i'm having so many problems. I just had the ECU caps replaced a couple weeks ago. I've been dumping money into repairing my car constantly since beginning of last year. grrrr, but i loves me car.

I had this same problem, although what caused the lights to come on was me driving about 40 clicks through water about 1 foot deep. It knocked a couple belts off the pulleys. If when you stop your car, then the next day, try to start it, and it starts fine, then the alternator is fine (most likely).
