ok, so just when i thought i had all problems finally squared away with my car, another one pops up.
I'll be honest i wasn't being nice to it. I was racing a prelude and when i shifted into third, it jerked like a son of a b1tch! I looked at my speedo to see my speed and it was just jumping around like a retard on a trampoline!
What the hell is the problem now and how the hell do i fix it??? All input is appreciated!

Your actual speed or just the speedometer?

the tach jumped the first time, but now just the speedo is messed up and when i rev it up, it goes to around 4000 rpm and then it's like the rev limiter kicks in. When i'm driving , and i get to around 4000-6000 rpm it feels like the govener is kicking in!!! I don't understand what the problem is! it's a huge jerking motion in every single gear at around 4000 rpm, but sometimes it will let me get to close to 6000 rpm. WTF!!!! Help me please!!! I beg of you!

Seems like the problem start when you were at full boost.

Try checking ALL intake pipe connections.

so ive checked everything and i've found nothing!!!
Tony it seems that you are right, it is at full boost. I checked after you said that and it is indeed at full boost. that's why its aways at a different rpm- it depends what gear i'm in! I am at a loss. ponder
I am dead broke because of recent previous repairs, so i can't afford to take it to anyone. I wish i was a little smarter, because i have no damn idea what the problem is! If anyone else has any idea all input is more than welcome and definetly appreciated!!!!!!!

O.K. Another update, although by the number of replies in this thread, it seems like no one cares! It is not jerking at full boost like previously mentioned, it is at anywhere from 4000-6000 rpm. When i'm sitting still and i rev it up it will stop at 4100 rpm and it sounds as if there is a rev limiter kicking in. I don't know what it is and i'd really like to figure it out before i have to take it to satan. I am too poor to be doing that. If anyone else has any thoughts they are extremely welcome to share them with me and i will be glad to try them out. Tahnks again!
Jeff

Let's get this straight. Is your spedometer still messed up? Ie reading erratically at any time? Then either your vehicle speed sensor is dead or the connection is dead. If it started after a hard shift, I hope you didn't break something that in turn knocked out the speedo gear (happened to me). Might have just broken a connection or messed up the sensor itself.

Bad speed sensor can give false info to the ecu, so it won't really know what to do. I'm pretty sure that can cause bucking. If you have an erratic speedo, I'd start with fixing that.

If your speedo's fine I'd ook at ignition. Plugs and wires and the rest.

Did the plugs and wires, and yes the speedo is always going crazy! I had thought that it might be the speed sensor, because i read that is a common problem. I haven't got a clue on where it is or how to go about fixing it. Is there a sight or something that i could visit and check out where the sensor is?
Fixing these cars by myself is new to me, i'm used to the old carbs and junk of the past.
