went to St Thomas today,waiting in the staging lane for my 3rd run I heard a clunk noise as I moved forward.I then noticed on right and left turns my rear wheels would skip(like they were locking up)so as I just drove around the staging area it would sometimes keep making a clunk noise and almost felt like It had alittle bit of drag.Rear end?Thanks for any help.

Its not the rear end, you broke your center differential. It is inside the transmission.
Don't keep driving the car, if you plan on fixing the same transmission, or else you can do more damage to the tranny.

last year I blew the center Diff. and had to rebuild it.But when it went, my back gears weren't locking on turns but I could spin them with even the slightest touch of throttle.So is it possible to have 2 different symptoms for the same problem?Thanks for your input.
