I removed and rebuilt this differential about 1 and 1/2 years ago no problem,but this time it 's being a bitch.I'm down to the center diff,but it will not budge.I removed the T-case aswell but the input shaft seems to be stuck to,I'm assuming the "X" part inside the diff.I've tried hammering the shaft through but it just wont go and I obviously can't remove the thing with shaft and all due the flared end in the T-case portion.Any Ideas 'cause I seem to be screwed.Thanks

Disassemble the center diff in place and see where that will get you.

I've been trying,I got the 8 bolts out and can slide the front cover of the diff. abit but It aswell won't come off.I don't know what else to try.This sucks!

You've blown it up good then

Try a bigger hammer.

I had enough fun today,but yes tomorrow I'm going to try to a sledge hammer if I have to,It's not like I can mess up much more.I assume I'm going to need the input shaft aswell as a new center differential.I love AWD!

Finally got it out! Pulley puller,Impact gun,Big Hammer,pry bar and alot of built up Anger!.Needless to say, But it is a disaster in there,the housing is screwed,but the input shaft seems to be fine.So If anyone knows where I can get a good used Center differential please PM me.Thanks.
